The N%&!?$E# ( pronounced NONSENSE ) are book covers designed for a hypothetical book about absurdity. Inspired by the quote “ When the desire to find meaning and the lack of meaning collide, it is when the absurdity is highlighted.” (Albert Camus), the project discussed the conflicts between nouns, meaning and function. By comparing human basic needs (pasta / food) and the consumer goods (shoes / accessory ), the design revealed the disproportion of consumerism in an ironic logic.
