Last One Standing was a Sci-Fi (Zombies) TV/web series funded by Chinese production house, in cooperation with Taiwanese production team. The film was shot mostly on Penghu, an outlying island in Taiwan, which is the perfect location for shooting a film depicting a brutal game of survival in an isolated ruined city with no living soul in sight.

 

The abandoned scenes with rusty dilapidated texture shown in the film were mostly set by the art department. The shooting continued for more than three months, filmed across Taiwan and China. Chuang has been asked to take care of some setting issues for a month on the island, before the pre-production for her next film as an art director.
